Once we have your form, we will review it and email you back. We may or may not have to ask for additional information to allow us to value your cask properly.
We may also request a re-gauge of your cask to allow us up to date information on how much spirit the cask holds in order to make a valuation.
Noteworthy Points to Consider
If a cask is older than 10 years old or so, we will likely request a re-gauge before agreeing a price. This will give us up to date information on the contents of the cask. Our price will be based on the litres of pure alcohol left in the cask as this is what defines how many bottles will be yielded from the cask.
If the cask is ready to bottle, we are happy to structure a deal which will allow you to receive a certain number of bottles from the cask. These will be compliantly bottled, labelled and duty paid. This lets you taste the final product without having hundreds of bottles to deal with!
When we buy a cask, we will take on any VAT and duty obligations along with compliant label design and the act of bottling, casing and distribution.
