Hand Drawn Collection Muddy Waters -16 Year Old Glentauchers Sherry Cask

Welcome to our latest series of bottlings; The Hand-Drawn Collection. Each bottling will be a micro batch, each hand bottled, individually numbered and labelled with hand written labels. These will initially only be available in the UK and on www.unchartedwhisky.com.

Introducing… Muddy Waters. Stunning aromatic spirit distilled at Glentauchers distillery. This release represents just 74 bottles drawn from a first fill ex-Pedro Ximenez quarter cask. Aged 16 years, this represent a beautiful match of rich and generous sherry deliciousness balanced with a kicking distillery character.

Named for it’s dark, sherry influenced colour, this full bodied and cask strength whisky is laden with decadent apricots, Christmas cake drowned in butterscotch sauce. It’s a sherry bomb.

This has now been bottled, labelled and is ready for immediate dispatch.

Nose

Rich full bodied sherry cask, sticky toffee pudding, apricots, aromatic funk.

Palate

Decadent, unctuous and complicated. Rich sherry sweetness is the headliner with a myriad of funky, fruity and occasionally floral supporting acts.

Finish

Christmas cake spices and clootie dumpling close the show in a long fade to black.
