David Lish Roth… Is it the silliest name yet? Possibly. The names of the cask shares are getting sillier (by popular demand we do have to add)… Clynelish spirit distilled in 2017 and matured to date in a refill hogshead. Now eight years old, it is time for something completely different.
This rather lovely spirit will be transferred into a brand new Moscatel cask to finish off the maturation in style. We only have one of these sadly so it will be a stand alone cask for now.The Moscatel-filled portion will mature for another (not quite) four years and be bottled at 12 years old in 2029.
As with all Cask Share bottlings, it will be released with natural colour and no chill filtration, at the gutsy 50% ABV bottling strength.
Clynelish spirit has eluded Uncharted so far proving rare and hard to pin down much like their wild cat logo might suggest- and we are so excited to bottle this beautiful spirit of Scotland.
